Summary: ?The Deposit Outbound Sales Associate’s primary responsibility will be to acquire, expand and enrich member relationships, while providing the Vibrant experience. They will be member focused and show excellence in accuracy in their work while meeting and exceeding sales and service expectations.? Provide personalized professional service and create opportunities for additional business.? 

Where you will make an impact: 

• Possesses a core understanding of financial literacy and can provide guidance to solve member’s needs. 
• Knowledge expert on Vibrant’s deposit product suite, services, and model 
• Leverages centers of influence to build a network and create a pipeline of business. 
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging individual network.  
• Develop and maintain a network of prospective client referral sources through community and development activities. 
• Capitalize on growth opportunities by identifying the needs of existing and prospective members and providing appropriate financial solutions. 
• Call prospective and current members within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and relationships. 
• Collaborate with branches and department heads as needed. 
• Obtain sales leads by prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing internal relationships. 
• Ensures confidentiality of member accounts and account information 
• Meets/exceeds department service level expectations and KPIs.  
• Provide reports to management team upon request. 
• Provide exceptional member service and promote the Vibrant brand while engaging with prospects and members. 
• Works leads in an efficient and productive manner. 
• Maintain sales and activity target expectations. 
• Adhere to account opening processes and procedures. 
• Maximize every sales opportunity provided to capitalize on every interaction with members, prospects, and networks to promote Vibrant deposit products through digital and direct external sales methods. 
• Maintains new and existing deposit relationships. 
• Supports new marketing campaign and collaborates with marketing team on needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.?Associate degree in business, communication, or related field preferred. 
• Three years’ proven sales experience in the banking industry. General banking knowledge preferred, specifically related to deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificate of deposits, debit and credit cards). 
• Must have the ability to perform duties away from primary worksite to maximize sales opportunities, support, and service member needs.  
• A minimum of 20% travel required and may be more depending on business needs.  
• Self-motivated and goal oriented.  
• Enjoys being in a competitive and sales-driven environment. 
• Committed to achieving success through activity-based efforts. 
• Exceptional communication skills and has a genuine ability to connect with people.

Must have the ability to make critical decisions and prioritize key objectives. This individual should also possess excellent verbal communication skills and mathematical reasoning ability. It is essential that this individual understand and abide by the strict confidentiality policies that are necessary in any financial institution. 

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements: 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions.  The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds).  Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required.  Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy.  Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
