Business Analyst - Data and Loan Operations

DESCRIPTION:

The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing BWE’s digital and AI initiatives by documenting project requirements and assisting in both the development and implementation of digital technology and AI initiatives. Supporting all business units across BWE, and as a member of the Digital Technology Team, this role is a key enabler of both the company’s digital and business strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner and consult with end users to identify areas for improvement

• Support initiatives to automate manually intensive processes through the use of AI solutions including DocGen, GenAI, OCR and legacy workflow technologies

• Document associated process and reporting specifications

• Assist in designing process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality of loan origination, loan processing and loan servicing

• Partner with Technology team members to drive agile development processes

• Test solutions as required

• Assist with training and implementation of new processes and technology innovations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and experience

• 2+ years of professional work experience; experience in Commercial Lending and CRE a plus

• Ability to manage multiple assignments, coordinate and communicate effectively

• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CoPilot experience a plus

• Experience working with agile project teams

• Experience with business process and requirement gathering in an Agile framework

• Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI, SQL Server a plus

• Experience with AI solutions including GenAI, OCR, RPA and plus
