Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of our company's financial management and reporting. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. This role is integral to the company's success and will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

-Develop and implement financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.

-Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

-Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecast.

Financial Reporting:

-Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

-Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.

-Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.

Financial Operations:

-Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

-Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital to support the company's growth.

-Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.

Tax and Compliance:

-Work with CFO to ensure and execute compliance with all tax regulations and filings at the federal, state, and local levels.

-Collaborate with external CPA firm

-Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Financial Guidance:

-Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals.

-Provide financial insights to support investment decisions and capital allocation.

Team Leadership:

-Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

-Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).

-Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior financial role in a technology company.

-In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

-Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

-Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling).

-Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

-Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
