About the role:Xperi seeks an experienced Project Manager/Team Leader to drive our innovation and market leadership in Linux and Android-based browsing solutions for Smart TVs and set-top boxes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead project initiation: define scope, create estimates and schedules, secure resources, develop project plans, and gain sponsor/stakeholder approval.
- Deliver Xperi solutions to global customers while providing hands-on support during project execution.
- Communicate with customers and coordinate cross-functional project development.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and maintain team motivation/engagement through trust-building, inspiration, and people development.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (peer Project Managers, Sales, Department Heads, HR), external business partners, and customers.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- 5+ years managing IT projects for external customers.
- 4+ years in the full software delivery lifecycle.
- Practical expertise in project management methodologies.
- Proven people management experience (e.g., handling challenges, communicating changes, motivating/developing teams).
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, multisite, multicultural environments.
- Resilience in unpredictable situations with strong problem-solving skills.
- Technical background (ideally in TV/STB or embedded systems).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Systematic, highly organized, and proactive.
- Assertive with strong leadership qualities.
- "Can-do" attitude: team player, self-reliant, disciplined.
- Experience with TV/STB devices or embedded systems.
