Fleet Electrification Lead

Resource Innovations is seeking a Fleet Electrification Lead to join our growing Transportation Electrification team. As a Fleet Electrification Lead with Resource Innovations, you will be responsible to expand our footprint and impact with utilities and governments across North America by building, marketing, and growing the Fleet vertical of our Transportation Electrification business, set upon our best-in-class Demand Side Management (DSM) services, consulting, and software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, launch, and support overall ongoing management & operations of turnkey fleet electrification programs for our utility clients.
• Work collaboratively alongside our Engineering team, Delivery team, and Advisory Services team and be the resident fleet EV expert.
• Analyze and evaluate current fleet compositions, including vehicles, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs, to identify opportunities for electrification.
• Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for the electrification of fleets, including vehicle procurement, charging infrastructure deployment, and renewable energy integration.
• Conduct financial and feasibility analyses to assess the economic and environmental benefits of fleet electrification initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as fleet managers, finance teams, and sustainability officers, to ensure alignment of electrification goals with organizational objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and government policies related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure to inform decision-making.
• Coordinate with external vendors, utilities, and government agencies to secure incentives, grants, and partnerships to support fleet electrification projects.
• Develop and implement monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet electrification, such as energy consumption, emissions reduction, and cost savings.

• Work with our Marketing team to create and provide training and educational materials to fleet operators and drivers to promote efficient and effective use of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to fleet management and stakeholders to communicate the benefits, progress, and future plans of fleet electrification programs
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Preferred in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in fleet electrification & associated advisory services
• Previous experience and success engaging and facilitating transportation electrification interactions with investor-owned utilities, community leaders and stakeholders, corporations, and/or government agencies
• Expert knowledge of Electric Vehicles, Charging Infrastructure, Charging Software and Technologies
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time or higher as needed.
