Lead modeling and technology expert advising the executive team and/or business unit senior management on complex issues affecting the actuarial department. Leads major model and technology development, with a focus on driving a best-in-class modeling and technology platform, in conjunction with Technology partners in the enterprise. You will report to the Senior Director of Modeling & Systems.
What you do:

Leads projects that have major impacts on the enterprise

Leads development and design of financial systems, analytical and/or valuation methodologies

Provide analysis and recommendations regarding financial implications of new products, regulations and accounting practices

Manages, trains and directs work of other managing actuaries and actuarial technology managers, providing employee and career development
What you bring:
Mininum:
-
8-10 years’ of experience required
-
Four-year degree required in Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
Preferred:
-
11+ years’ experience in life insurance or related financial services industry

Advanced degree or education: MBA, CPA, ASA/FSA, CFA
