As a Business Development Representative at PeakMetrics, you'll play a key role in fueling growth by building relationships, qualifying leads, and helping shape how we engage enterprise customers. You will be developing relationships with new prospects and understanding customer needs and goals. You are driven and a relentless problem solver who demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles. This role reports to the VP of Sales, and works closely with the Marketing, Product and Growth teams.

Master the Art of Outbound Sales: Learn how to build and execute structured outbound campaigns using multi-channel strategies including email, phone, and LinkedIn.
Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Develop the ability to research, identify, and prioritize high-value prospects. Hone your skills in qualifying leads based on business needs, buying signals, and strategic fit.
Sales Messaging & Positioning: Gain experience crafting compelling outreach messages that resonate with senior decision-makers and align with their pain points.
CRM & Sales Tools Proficiency: Get hands-on training with industry-standard sales tools and CRMs, learning how to manage and report on sales pipelines with precision and clarity.
Objection Handling & Discovery Skills: Learn how to lead effective discovery conversations, uncover business challenges, and handle objections with confidence and empathy.
Data-Driven Outreach: Understand how to leverage data and insights to personalize outreach, measure performance, and continuously improve engagement strategies.

What You Will Accomplish:
Sales Performance: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion rates.
Client Acquisition: Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify leads through various channels and account based marketing methods. Engage with prospects to understand their needs, educate them about PeakMetrics and effectively communicate the value proposition.
Relationship Building: Develop a deep understanding of market needs, pain points, and buying priorities through ongoing prospect conversations, and share insights to inform future outreach and product direction.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and track all interactions in the CRM. Manage prospects through each stage of the sales process: prospecting, outreach, demo, and proposals. Monitor and report on the health of the sales pipeline, including lead generation and conversion rates.
Metrics & Reporting: Maintain clear, consistent reporting on client acquisition, lead quality, and pipeline performance to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer experience and product teams.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
2-4 years of B2B SaaS Enterprise sales experience. A plus if you have experience in threat intelligence, data analytics, or security.
Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, high growth startup environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and generate qualified leads
