Amentum IRES and NISSC SkillBridge Opportunities

The Armed Forces SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service.

The IRES and NISSCII teams are looking for services members from the following fields:

·         Government contracting and procurement

·         IT Services

·         Engineering

·         Systems Architecture

·         Mission Event Planning

·         Configuration Management

·         Finance

·         Software Development

·         Cybersecurity

·         Satellite Ground Segment Operations

·         Project Management

·         Intelligence

·         A/V Specialists

This internship will be located at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL depending on the position. If you are outside of these areas this will require relocation to the location the internship will be at. 

SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this fellowship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.

Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position.

Basic Requirements:

·         To have served at least 180 days in any of the U.S. Armed Forces.

·         To be within 180 days of separation or retirement from any of the U.S. Armed Forces (you may start your application prior to the 180 days).

·         Must be on track to receive an Honorable Discharge.

·         Must have taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
