About the role

Position Overview 
The Senior Director of Integration at Argano will play a critical role within the COO organization, a key driver of our business strategies. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is essential in executing the seamless integration of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that align with Argano’s strategic goals. As a proactive leader with extensive experience in M&A and partnership management, you will ensure that all integration processes are not only efficient but also contribute to the long-term success of both Argano and the acquired entities. Your work will be instrumental in maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, enabling Argano to achieve desired capabilities and financial synergies while fostering a collaborative and non-transactional integration experience.

 


Key Responsibilities

1. M&A Integration Leadership

  • Lead M&A integration efforts with a focus on achieving desired capabilities and financial synergies.
  • Work with key functions and stakeholders to develop and implement function-specific playbooks to ensure alignment and fit efficiencies across the organization.
  • Oversee due diligence, execution, and post-integration alignment to ensure long-term success.
  • Ensure the integration process supports Argano’s goal of benefiting both the acquiring and acquired organizations without a purely transactional feel.


2. Strategic Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with business line leaders and the corporate strategy team to align M&A activities with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Work with the COO to support the Corporate Development function in evaluating industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics for strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand their strategic needs and identify acquisition targets that align with their goals.
  • Produce a detailed analysis of the integration process and timelines so all stakeholders can validate the fit and timing of the integration.


3. Acquisition Strategy and Execution

  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between business units and the corporate development team to ensure acquisition strategies support business line objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to align acquisition targets with long-term strategic goals.
  • Support the evaluation of key technology growth drivers for internal development, partnerships, related to acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential acquisitions and develop comprehensive business cases.


4. Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets, industry experts, and other internal key stakeholders.
  • When requested, participate in due diligence processes, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit evaluation.
  • Support post-acquisition integration efforts to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor the performance of acquired companies and provide ongoing support to optimize their integration and growth.


5. Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Support the development of the acquisition strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and the corporate strategy team.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to executive management.
  • Assist in the negotiation and structuring of partnership and acquisition deals.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, HR, culture, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of partnership and acquisition agreements.


6. Post-Acquisition Management

  • Once the acquired organization is integrated, manage relationships with key technology partners transitioned from the corporate innovation team to business units, ensuring key objectives of the acquisition agreement are met.
  • Support the assessment and negotiation of long-term commercial arrangements with technology partners, vendors, and other contracts (e.g., JV, resell, license, private label, acquire).
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the integration and growth of acquired companies to ensure ongoing success.



Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in M&A integration, corporate development, or related functions, with a strong track record of leading complex integration initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess and align acquisition targets with long-term strategic goals.<
