Installer – Maintenance Technician

The Installer/Maintenance Technician assists in construction, installation, and maintenance projects; including carpentry, masonry, glazier, metal installation, painting, and other tasks. They are responsible for ensuring their work areas are cleaned and maintenance issues are addressed timely. Obtains parts, supplies, and equipment from warehouses or storerooms when necessary. Records maintenance and repair work performed. Performs other work as assigned.

Compensation

Starting Pay Range: $21.80 - $29.06 Hourly

Primary Responsibilities  

• General maintenance of rooms and units

• Construction, reconfiguration, and removal of units. This includes preparation for new sites and removal of decommissioned units

• Installation, removal, and maintenance of other Bargold equipment

• Loading, unloading, and delivery of building materials

• Respond to and address emergency maintenance issues

• Interact with customers, building representatives, internal depts and vendors as needed

• Others duties as assigned

 

Job Specifications

• General knowledge of construction and of building and equipment maintenance

• Experience with power tools and safety equipment

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans

• Work within OSHA guidelines and ensure a safe work environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred

• Previous construction experience 2+ years preferred

• Fluency in Spanish preferred
