We are seeking a Sr Advisor, Market Fundamentals to provide timely fundamentals research and analysis to support Enbridge’s Liquids Pipeline (LP) Commercial, Business Development, and Executive Leadership.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Understand and analyze long-term global & North American demand, supply and pricing fundamentals, including the impact of energy reliability, affordability & transition scenarios, and how these fundamentals and scenarios could impact our assets, growth and market value.

  • Scrutinize third-party forecasts and scenarios, gain an understanding of why these forecasts are different and how they could impact LP’s growth and operating business strategies.

  • Support the Strategy and Fundamentals team’s work in development of short-term and long-term volumetric & price differentials forecasts for the LP business in the context of the North American market and global influences, with particular focus on the PADD III region.

  • Work collaboratively with Commercial and BD groups by providing critical & timely volumetric forecast analysis of supply, demand and throughput impacting the existing business and growth opportunities.

  • Support the Board Corporate Strategic Planning Cycle and Investor Relations with external communications of LP-underpinning market fundamentals.

  • Provide market fundamentals updates and commentary to key company personnel as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of forecasting tools and models.

What You Offer:

  • Degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant oil and gas market fundamentals experience.

  • Advanced Excel, data analysis, and mathematical skills for organizing and filtering large amounts of data.

  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and condense into relevant format for diverse audiences, including senior management.

  • A high degree of personal initiative and ability to prepare detailed volumetric analysis with minimal direction.

Preferred:

  • Midstream experience preferred.

  • Experience with a variety of energy-focused research & data services (e.g., S&P Global, Rystad Energy, Wood Mackenzie) preferred.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
