Production Operator - Fermentation

Location: Belvidere, NJ

Onsite

Rotating 12-hour Day/Night Shifts

 

 

As a Production Operator, you’ll be a key part of our diverse workforce and work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern 7-7, with 7-day breaks, to support the plant’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operates and monitors equipment and process to produce quality chemical intermediates and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan.  
• Performs material handling , Fork lift operation., Weighing and dispensing of raw materials.
• Operates storage, blending, milling and packaging equipment to prepare and transfer materials to production through to finished goods inventory.
• Complies with cGMP, ICHQ-7 and ISO regulations and procedures for packaging, handling and storage of incoming, in-process and finished goods.
• Assists Technical Coordinator with coordinating and prioritizing maintenance needs with production needs. 
• Performs general housekeeping/maintenance of process areas (e.g., painting, cleaning, etc.)., principles of Manufacturing Excellence (Manufex) environment, (e.g., minor equipment repair).
• Involvement in setting up and reviewing site SHE requirements, procedures, and instructions by participating in SHE culture on site.

 You bring:

 

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment (Food, Petroleum, Chemical, etc.)
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern 7-7, with 7-day breaks.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements (regular lifts of 40-50 lbs)
