About the role

The Role:

 Vice President of Marketing will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be at the forefront of designing and delivering strategy that supports iA’s brand awareness and top of funnel growth. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, designed to promote and enhance the iA reputation and awareness to drive business growth and market share. The VP Marketing will require experience in a variety of fields, including developing and implementing integrated communications campaigns and brand building programs, digital marketing, growth marketing, event management and public relations. The VP of Marketing will work collaboratively with sales leadership, business development, and product marketing to strategically design and execute marketing initiatives. The VP of Marketing candidate will have experience with vertical, account-based, executive audience marketing for technology products/services. The right candidate will have a combination of creativity and analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. Managerial leadership is essential as the role has responsibility for the hiring and development of the marketing and events team as well as interfacing with all cross -functional areas

 What you’ll do: 

  • Define marketing strategies and programs that build awareness, acquire net new customers and cross-sell into existing accounts, aligned to the required go-to-market plan and future solutions on the iA roadmap, leveraging market and competitor analyses.
  • Develop integrated campaigns including web, print, promotions, trade shows, advertising, PR, and non-traditional communications techniques that drive growth, brand awareness and brand value.
  • Strong financial acumen to lead annual marketing budget and plans in support of organization strategy and objectives, recommending growth opportunities, and planning for future needs.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop strategy and marketing programs that drive demand. Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull.
  • Evaluate and analyze the results of each campaign and program and make recommendations for future enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the HR and our People team to communicate the iA brand to current and prospective team members as well as provide marketing and communication support for employee engagement initiatives.
  • People-focused leader with proven ability to build creative, collaborative teams; develop people; and link performance to overall business objectives.

 Who you are:

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth culture and have experience building high-performance teams and establishing systems and processes that scale. A strong manager of execution who exhibits urgency in completing projects and is solutions driven.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership within B2B technology products or services. Experience with pharmacy related businesses a plus, but not required.
  • Proven expertise leading marketing, branding, creative services, public relations, industry, and company events. Experience in leading virtual events including ability to rapidly pivot from live to virtual as market conditions shift. Additional required areas of expertise: Creative video, website, and marketing collateral content development; Corporate and external speaker development and support; trade show booth design and logistics expertise; Project management; Executive communications experience working for a mature private or publicly held organization.
  • Strong track record of partnering with sales organizations to create impactful customer-centric materials and communications that clearly articulate differentiation and company value proposition.
  • Excellent leadership skills: humility to coach and serve the organization and clients; highly regarded for recruiting, championing diversity, mentoring, and coaching staff.
  • Strategic thinker who can develop a passion for major industry disruption and the company's mission.
  • Collaborative team player who builds trust and sharpens the thinking of those around them by challenging assumptions, adding a fresh perspective on a wide range of business issues and empowering ownership at every level to achieve excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field. MBA preferred, but not required.
