Legal Document Specialist (27172)

We are looking for a Legal Document Specialist to join our Medical Records team.

The main function of this position is to provide administrative support tasks for the Record Retrieval department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supports the Record Retrieval Department by performing any or all of the following:

* Ordering all county and Workers Compensation subpoenas

* Completing all subpoenas either manually with a typewriter or by utilizing the subpoena tool

* Printing out the Notice of Intent from RATS

* Faxing the Notice of Intent to all counsel

* Sending via UPS the Notice of Intent

* Calling all counsel for waiver

* Issuing all subpoenas to the providers upon completion of NOI

* Communication with clients regarding subpoena files

* Re-issuing the Notice of Intent upon resolution of objections

* Review and accountability for all reports surrounding subpoena statuses

This position has the potential to go remote once training is complete.
