Operations Manager

DGR Systems is looking for an Operations Manager with a focus on ensuring efficient day-to-day operations to join our highly competent team. This individual will work cross-functionally to manage various aspects of the company’s operations, including process efficiency, resource allocation, and financial optimization. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, knowledgeable of best practices associated with IT service delivery, incessantly client-focused and has excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set clear performance expectations and foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues or roadblocks as they arise.

• Collaborating with practice leads to ensure the optimization and allocation of resources, including staff, hardware, and software, to support operational needs.
• Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and document operating procedures for various aspects of the business.
• Develop and manage the operations budget to ensure cost-effective utilization of resources, cost savings opportunities, and project profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in IT operations management, financial leadership, or similar leadership role.
• Strong management experience in the IT industry, including leading and coaching teams, project management/project delivery, and financial analysis and operations.
• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
• Knowledge of modern IT applications, processes, software, and equipment.

• High emotional intelligence to be able to work in stressful situations ensuring quality outcomes.
• Must be incessantly focused on ensuring the quality of the client experience.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts and service agreements.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to ensure effective contracting vehicles are in place, client satisfaction is excelling, and address any operational concerns.
• History of identifying and mitigating operational risks, developing contingency plans as needed, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
