Inventory Leader 2nd Shift

We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Inventory Leader to join our growing team. 

 

Starting Pay: Depending on experience

Hours: 2nd Shift, Hours may be subject to change

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Inventory Leader is required to practice all safety and good manufacturing rules and procedures.  This role is expected to be an expert on the Catalyst Business Processes, and a support resource for the plant for SAP transactions and system flow.  A primary function of this role is to be an educator out on the floor, showing internal customers how to execute Business Processes (Shop floor and/or IM/WM) and SAP system transactions.   This role is responsible for completing Cycle Counts and Consumption Location reconciliations to the frequency required.  This role is also responsible for the staging and back staging processes (from Buffer to staging area, and vice versa). Additional responsibilities include:

• Oversees organized SAP storage location staging areas.
• Perform cycle counts relative to production schedules.
• Auditor and clerical duties.
• Maintains inventory documentation and ongoing inventory accuracy tracking as required.
• Maintains GMP standards for staging and storage areas.
• Acts as back-up to Receiving Specialists.
• Position maybe to process export documentation.
• Prepare material requisitions and material credits and assists in preparing Material Disposition Notices (MDN). 
• Will initiate and/or respond to incidents in Rockford CMS system, assuring root cause conclusions and implementing corrective actions.  
• Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to work in a team-based environment.  
• Represent Materials Management in meetings as necessary.  
• Auditing responsibilities include performing routine audits of documentation, procedures and processes, and providing formal feedback to appropriate leaders.  
• Accountable to department KPI’s and expectations.  
• Goals and objectives will be set for this position.  
• Performance will be measured through goals and objectives accomplishments; mid-year and annual performance evaluations will be completed.

• Strong initiative
• Previous Inventory experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
• Able to work variable hours as required.
• Internal auditor training completed within 6 months.
• Financial Acumen required.
• Strong SAP experience preferred in the areas of Shop floor and/or IM/WM.
