Senior/Staff JAMF Management Engineer

Our IT infrastructure empowers our skilled team to efficiently use resources to build best in class software in or out of our offices. We’re looking for expertise to help lead our endpoint management program and further mature our enterprise security within our infrastructure stack.

This role will be based in our San Ramon, CA location.

What will you do?

• Maintain and regularly review JAMF Pro management platform infrastructure design and operations, architecting and executing necessary changes in accordance with business growth and security requirements
• Maintain management platform availability by use of monitoring tools while proactively responding to operational risks via automated response mechanisms
• Engineer, pilot, and implement upgrades and improvements to device provisioning workflows in Ridgeline’s corporate environment
• Create and maintain application packages and scripts utilized in provisioning operations, corporate fleet deployments, and end user self-service catalogs
• Work with security team to maintain and update client security baselines, automate patch/update schedules, and respond to critical vulnerability threats
• Maintain and enforce standardized client fleet hardware and software configurations utilizing automation, scripting, and management platforms, reviewing regularly to meet evolving business and security needs
• Serve as macOS and JAMF Pro subject matter expert and final escalation point for technical support teams
• Collaborate with business teams to evaluate, architect, and implement innovative solutions for business-driven initiatives, utilizing a creative, technical, and automated approach, emphasizing tight integrations with existing business systems when possible
• Create and maintain documentation pertinent to management program design, supporting process workflows, and reference material used by IT and Security teams

Preferred Skills and Experiences

• 5+ years of experience managing and leading a JAMF Pro environment while working with reports to effectively maintain corporate infrastructure. 
• JAMF 400 certification or above is required for this position as it will require advanced knowledge of the tool as well as scripting for customized workflows within the organization. 
• Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.

Nice-To-Haves

• Experience with SonicWall, Ruckus, and Cisco equipment.

Compensation and Benefits 

[For New York and California Based Only]

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $140,000-$180,000 for individuals based in New York and California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
