The Director of Business Operations will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing key operational functions at Madhive. This position is responsible for managing procurement, real estate, office management, and ensuring strategic alignment across the company. The successful candidate will drive the execution of company-wide initiatives, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and company all-hands meetings. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Business Operations will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, support business growth, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee and optimize the procurement process to ensure cost-efficiency and alignment with company goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.

  • Real Estate and Facilities: Manage all aspects of real estate and facilities for the Company'’s office locations, ensuring smooth operations and supporting future expansion. Lead efforts to secure, develop, and optimize office space to align with company needs.

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment of company initiatives with overall business strategy, working closely with the C-Suite. Identify and analyze key operational metrics and trends to inform decision-making. Implement frameworks to track and report progress against strategic goals.

  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Organize and lead QBRs, providing critical insights into business performance and ensuring alignment across departments.

  • Company All-Hands: Plan and execute company-wide meetings and all hands to effectively communicate key business updates and reinforce company culture.

  • Office Management: Manage the logistics of keeping the office in order, stocked with supplies, coordination of maintenance of shared office space, and the front desk/reception area. Act as a point of contact for building and facility vendors and support front desk/reception by serving as a point of escalation

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement lean methodologies and best practices to optimize operations. Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures and policies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all business functions.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, finance, procurement, or similar roles.

  • Proven experience leading procurement, process improvement and real estate management.

  • Oversee and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading QBRs, company meetings, and driving strategic initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a high-growth technology or media company.

  • Proven experience as a self starter who has a history of building teams and company wide initiatives with processes for high growth scaleT

The approximate compensation range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
