Your Responsibilities
As a Content Strategy Lead, Construction for John Deere Commons located in Moline, IL you will lead the development and execution of strategic content and creative initiatives that elevate John Deere’s Construction and Precision Technology portfolio. Collaborate with Product Marketing Stakeholders to ensure the prioritized business needs are met. Drive brand consistency and customer engagement across all marketing touchpoints. Additionally you will:
- Own Strategic Content Direction: Set the vision and approve creative for national advertising, dealer assets, paid social, Deere.com, email marketing, and newsletters
- Develop Campaign Strategy Briefs: Translate business objectives into actionable creative strategies for integrated campaigns and projects
- Photo & Video Production Leadership: Plan and execute shoots that capture the power and precision of John Deere construction equipment; collaborate with product marketing to coordinate opportunities; oversee image selection for impactful storytelling
- Customer-Facing Publications: Develop & Deliver compelling content that reinforces brand leadership and customer trust
- Ensure Compliance: Manage legal and safety reviews for all national advertising and customer communications
- Involvement with High-Profile Events: Drive creative execution for marquee industry events such as CONEXPO and bauma, showcasing Deere innovation

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of experience managing creative and brand initiatives with measurable impact
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels
- Expertise in crafting multi-channel communications tailored to diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to travel 25–40% to support business priorities
What Makes You Standout
- 5 or more years partnering with creative agencies to deliver breakthrough work
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Graphic Design
- Deep understanding of brand standards and ability to enforce guidelines
- Experience in the construction industry or with John Deere Precision Construction Technology solutions
- Familiarity with ECAP 3.0 and 4.0 processes
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Marketing/Sales, or equivalent related experience.
