On TikTok Accessibility team, we work collaboratively with our engineers, partner with designer, product managers and other teams across TikTok. By joining the team, you will have opportunities to work on various projects to improve existing product accessibility experience, introduce new features to enhance TikTok accessibility. You will also have opportunities to develop TikTok accessibility foundations and tools.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain shared UI frameworks and provide accessibility support.
- Support teams on product feature review, technical design consulting, adding/improving accessibility support.
- Develop and maintain automation tools like linters, static analyzers, automation tests foundation frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ Years of Experience in Android development
- Experience coding in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Android accessibility
- Experience coding in C, C++ or Python
- Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale Android applications
- Experience with optimizing large-scale applications accessibility experience
- Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
- Ability to have a systematic problem-solving approach.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
