Responsibilities:

• Oversee Shipping & Receiving Operations: Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, ensure proper loading and documentation, and train new department employees.
• Supervise Raw Material Preparation (Kitting): Direct the planning and execution of raw material kitting, ensuring adherence to process and efficiency in team operations.
• Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee inventory counts, address discrepancies, manage scrap materials, and ensure smooth material flow within the warehouse.
• Promote Safety and Continuous Improvement: Ensure proper PPE usage, address concerns professionally, and utilize continuous improvement strategies to refine warehouse processes.
• Administrative and Special Duties: Approve time cards, foster strong internal relationships, and handle special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years warehouse/distribution experience in a manufacturing/production environment; prior.

• Logistics or inventory experience a plus.

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft office.

• SAP, FedEx and UPS shipping software experience preferred. 

• Forklift experience required.

• Solid time management aptitude.
