Full-Time Position
We are seeking an energetic, service-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in a hands-on leadership role. This position is approximately 70% bartending and shift leadership responsibilities, with 30% focused on supervisory and operational duties. The ideal candidate leads by example behind the bar and on the floor while helping ensure exceptional member and guest experiences throughout daily operations.
Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for delivering elevated hospitality service while assisting with the supervision of front-of-house operations. This role actively works scheduled bartending shifts, supports staff during service, assists with training and accountability, and helps maintain service standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities
Bartending & Shift Leadership (70%)
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards
- Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized member service
- Lead service shifts while maintaining a calm, professional presence
- Support servers, bartenders, and support staff during peak periods
- Monitor service flow and assist in resolving member concerns in real time
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of bar and service areas
- Ensure proper cash handling and point-of-sale procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and daily setup
Supervisory & Administrative Duties (30%)
- Assist management with daily floor supervision and staff support
- Help train and onboard new team members
- Reinforce service standards, appearance guidelines, and workplace policies
- Assist with scheduling needs, shift coverage, and communication with staff
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Support club events, banquets, and special functions as needed
- Help maintain compliance with alcohol service and safety regulations
- Provide feedback to management regarding service performance and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet all state requirements for alcohol service
- Must be over 21 years of age
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor environment
