Position Summary:

As a PTA, your role is to provide therapy assistance and help patients reach their recovery goals. With AI-supported documentation, you can spend more time delivering hands-on care while efficiently capturing key session details.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support PTs in therapy sessions aimed at patient mobility improvement. 

Use AI tools to assist in documenting therapy outcomes efficiently. 

Focus on meaningful interactions while minimizing documentation distractions. 

Education and/or Experience 

• Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy. 
• Preferred: 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a home care or rehabilitation setting.  

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations 

Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.  

• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 

Skills

• Other Qualifications: Therapy Skills:
  • Knowledge of relevant rehabilitation therapy techniques and procedures in respective discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to clients ranging in age from adolescents to geriatrics including knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possession of the ability to assess data reflective of the client’s status and be able to interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each client’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs.

​Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In a healthcare setting, exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected. Routine use of standard medical equipment and tools associated with clinical care is essential. Pay Range: $33.40-$41.25
