Licensed Practiacal Nurse (LPN) | Cardiac Telemetry - 5 Heart Tower | Days

Join Atrium Health Navicent, a premier healthcare system in Central Georgia, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Heart Tower Cardiac Telemetry (5HT) unit. This unit specializes in the care of patients with cardiac conditions requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. LPNs work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments under the direction of a Clinical Nurse
• Accurately document patient observations, medications, and interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support patients and families by providing education and emotional support
• Adhere to safety, regulatory, and hospital infection control protocols
• Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a state-approved Technical School of Licensed Practical Nursing

Experience:

• 12+ months of medical-surgical or physician office nursing experience preferred
• Computer literacy and EMR documentation skills required

Certification/Licensure:

• Current LPN license with the Georgia State Board of Licensed Practical Nursing
• Current CPR certification required

Supervision:

• This position does not supervise other roles
