This could either be on a 4-10's (Thursday-Sunday) or 3-12's (Friday-Sunday) shift.

Job Description

  • Maintain a clean operating condition, perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment – primarily CNC equipment (Mills, Lathes, Welders, Saws)
  • Preventative maintenance checklists, measuring of critical points, unplanned repairs.
  • Installation of auxiliary equipment including, parts handling, cooling systems, chip handling, lubrication.
  • Maintain work orders with time, components used, and action taken to resolve the problem.
  • Gather quotes from suppliers and place purchase requisitions to gain necessary parts for service.
  • Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout program, to assure a safe work environment is promoted and maintained.

Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Machinist + 5 years’ work experience, or equivalent
  • CNC controls experience (Any one of those listed): Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Siemens, DMG
  • Electrical: Schematic reading, understanding of expected readings, troubleshooting, motors, relays, contacts, fuses, etc.
  • Mechanical: Spindles, gearboxes, belts, chains, clutches, hydraulics, pneumatics, measuring
  • Logic: PLC Ladder Logic, Industrial Robotics, Inputs/Outputs

Additional Information

Normal manufacturing environment in closed facility. Personal protection equipment recommended and/or required depending on working area (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields). Mandatory overtime may be required.
