What We Need: We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager 1 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. The Product Marketing Manager 1 is responsible for contributing to the success of their product category by driving results through cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for owning the product lifecycle, from inputs on ideation and development to launch and optimization of respective categories. What You Will Do:
- Own the lifecycle of a specified product category in accordance with the 3-year product roadmap.
- Drive Voice of Customer, market research & analyze trend data to identify and drive product opportunities.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross functional teams to align decisions, communication, and execution of product related initiatives.
- Represent product category during product development, ensuring product meets customer requirements and are delivered on time & within budget.
- Execute milestones and deliverables for each stage of the new product development process.
- Define and prioritize product features & enhancements based on market research & competitive positioning.
- Plan and execute successful product launches by collaborating with marketing and merchandising teams to create compelling product storytelling & go to market strategy.
- Monitor & analyze product sales, profit performance & customer feedback to identify opportunities for product category improvement including cost savings & quality improvement.
- Implement end-of-life product strategies including discontinuation and phase-out processes.
- Provide sales, trade & internal teams with necessary information, training, and product knowledge to support profitable growth.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience is required; 4 years of experience preferred.
