I. Job Summary
The position is responsible for supporting business optimization initiatives through analytical, operational, and cross‑functional collaboration. This role partners closely with sourcing, pricing, and operations teams to evaluate new business opportunities, build and review pro forma models, and analyze pricing, volume, and performance trends. The position includes on‑site support for startup and optimization activities, evaluation of new material streams, and preparation of clear, data‑driven insights for area leadership and senior management.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Sourcing Team with pricing analysis for new business opportunities, including development and review of pricing models.
- Build, review, and validate pro forma financial models to support business proposals and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct detailed pricing, volume, and plan performance analyses to assess profitability and operational impact.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to evaluate assumptions related to market conditions, material streams, and operational capacity.
- Travel to operating sites to support the Optimization Team, including participation in startup activities and operational assessments.
- Assist with testing and evaluation of new material streams, including data collection, material performance analysis, and feasibility assessment.
- Compile, organize, and analyze operational and financial data from multiple sources to develop clear, actionable insights.
- Prepare and present data-driven summaries and recommendations for Area Recycling Directors and Senior Leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, risks, and optimization opportunities across sourcing and operations.

III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- four years of relevant work experience
- 5 years relevant experience in dispatch, logistics or collections (in addition to education requirement).
B. Preferred Qualifications
-Previous experience in sustainability functions such as Renewable Energy/Recycling
-Experience leading sustainability program initiatives

Combination: This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.
Pay:The expected base pay range for this on-site is $108,600 -$165,485.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a bonus. Must live and work in the US.
