Job Description
As a Quality Engineer New Grad, you could:
- Maintain existing automation test frameworks
- Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
- Collaborate with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
- Create comprehensive test plans, execute and automate them
- Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments .
- Work within a software development team to develop, test, deploy and report on product performance, quality, security, and stability.
- Test web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university
- Graduated/Graduating between May 2023 – August 2024
- Ability to start on one of three cohort date dates:
- June 17, July 8, or August 19, 2024
- Experience in C++, Java, Perl, PHP, or Python.
- Demonstrated software engineering, or quality engineering, experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python or Ruby
- Experience working within automated testing frameworks including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects.
- Ability to understand several testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect - including tracking and addressing of any discovered issues.
- Knowledge and ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $91,800 - $134,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
