Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the user experience, user support, and maintenance of informatics products. Tessera uses ELN/LIMS software that is central to the company’s recordkeeping and data capture strategy. Our mission is to provide a single, non-siloed source of data for all of our research efforts – from experimental design to computational analysis. An easy to use system that mirrors our research provides our scientists with the ability to track and share their work in a way that makes it immediately usable for further discovery. The right candidate will ensure that our research and manufacturing teams can effectively use this software and are supported in their work.
We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual who is comfortable multitasking and working independently on various aspects of the platform. This individual will join a dynamic, rapidly growing, and highly collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as system superuser; provide operations support to end users and provide guidance in the implementation of LIMS/ELN functionality.
- Manage, triage, and close support tickets.
- Build and maintain knowledge base to streamline user processes and enable end-user self-service.
- Support monitoring, usage, and development of Benchling schema structures, templates, SQL queries, and Insights dashboards.
- Develop and provide analysis and reporting around support tickets, proactively identifying potential product improvements.
- Perform business administration and support functions related to workflow management, template creation, accounts and permissions management, configuration updates and testing in the ELN and LIMS systems.
- Drive and manage environmental change controls.
- Collaborate with scientists to understand requirements and develop design specifications.
Basic Qualifications:

- BS, MS, or PhD in molecular biology, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field, with 8 years of experience
- Experience with ELN and LIMS systems, preferably Benchling
- Experience in biotech or research informatics, supporting at least one of the core drug discovery scientific disciplines (chemistry, biology, and/or clinical)
- Experience in a client and/or customer facing role, such as customer success, customer experience, IT support
