About the role
As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing guidance around the clinical aspects of the program and is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of quality improvement initiatives for nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinical practices.
This is a part-time role (about 10-20 hours/week)

Essential Functions
- You will support a team of managers and Quality Improvement Advisors (QIAs) to ensure the delivery of effective technical assistance (TA), achievement of project goals, and alignment with clinical guidelines and evidence.
- You will work collaboratively with leadership teams to build partnerships, enroll providers to participate in initiatives, standardize processes, identify opportunities for improvement, address challenges, and ensure the alignment of interventions with organizational and project-wide goals.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted clinical license to practice medicine.
- Post-graduate experience in direct clinical patient care.
- 3+ years experience working with quality improvement initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, such as the Model for Improvement, PDSA cycles, and RCA.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to supervise, coach, and support a geographically distributed team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and CMS quality measures.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, meet deadlines, and produce detailed written reports.
- Experience in translating complex data into actionable insights and meaningful narratives for multidisciplinary teams, including clinical and non-clinical audiences.
