Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of sourcing plans for complex talent needs and senior positions; Partner to incorporate employer branding and social media tactics into talent sourcing plans.
  • Forecast hiring needs and create proactive plans/campaigns; Develop meaningful metrics (e.g., quality of hire, time to productivity, hiring manager satisfaction).
  • Develop new programs/methods to attract and retain top talent (e.g., strategic college recruiting, internships, student programs, shadowing).
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. senior leadership, other HR teams) to understand talent needs of business (both short and long term) and drive results.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of services for own team/ area.
  • Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with team members as appropriate, Mentor and train less experienced team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing/recruiting function, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing cross functional stakeholders and leading department wide process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven success leading talent acquisition projects and experience working with talent management systems.
  • Strong experience with technology-based recruiting and sourcing tools (e.g., social media, talent attraction/engagement platforms, search engine optimization, virtual career fairs). 

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $94,640 - $169,520 per year for the role of Principal Talent Acquisition.
