As an Associate, Data Manager, Infrastructure, you’ll play a key role in supporting the foundational systems that enable our marketing analytics and data products. You’ll work within a collaborative environment focused on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.

Role Responsibilities  

  • Support the configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of marketing analytics databases and data platforms. 

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance. 

  • Perform routine database administration tasks including data loading, backups, indexing, and access control. 

  • Monitor data quality and system performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure consistent availability and accuracy of marketing data. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of marketing data assets and ensure alignment with business requirements. 

  • Maintain documentation for database configurations, data access procedures, and operational workflows. 

  • Participate in change management, requirements tracking, and production support for marketing analytics data systems. 

  • Contribute to data governance and security practices by following established protocols and escalating concerns as needed.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or 8 years of relevant experience.  

  • 3–5 years of experience in database administration or data operations, preferably in a marketing or analytics environment. 

  • 1 + year experience in SQL and ETL processes. 

  • Familiarity with Oracle and Databricks platforms. 

  • Working knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Unix operating systems. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures for data quality and system reliability. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with performance tuning, monitoring tools, and automation scripts. 

  • Exposure to SAS, SPSS, or similar statistical tools. 

  • Experience working with large datasets, especially in healthcare or regulated industries. 

  • Understanding of metadata management, data governance, and compliance frameworks. 

  • Exposure to marketing data or customer analytics systems. 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
