$44.15 - $66.25The Labor & Delivery Unit at Carolinas Medical Center supports our surrounding area as the regional high risk transfer center. We have 22 Labor Deliver Recovery Rooms (LDR’s), 4 OB Observation Rooms, 4 Obstetrical Operating Rooms, 5 PACU rooms and 8 Ob Triage rooms. This department is a high energy unit and serves over 7,400 women annually. Our department is supported 24/7 by our physician partners in Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. We are a Magnet designated Facility and a participant in the North Carolina Breastfeeding Stars program. We provide onsite training for nurses with a passion for perinatal nursing, pre-certifications are not necessary, the courses are included in our orientation process.
