EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Average to above average proficiency in use of keyboard equipment.
  • Working knowledge of computers and data processing procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the master schedules at the secondary level. 
  • Enters and revises computerized student data for assigned schools (this includes grades, personal data, schedules, etc.). 
  • Enters and maintains basic student information, registrations, and withdrawals on the computer at assigned schools. 
  • Coordinates and assists elementary and middle school secretarial staff in maintaining the student data base for assigned schools. 
  • Assists counselors and school staff in the analysis of student data in support of school programs.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
