Job Duties include:
- Assist in the implementation of program Configuration Management plans, procedures, and work instructions Assist in the maintenance of product configuration baselines
- Participate in process improvement activities; contribute suggestions for adapting policy to situations and update processes and procedures as required
- Assist in software build and release management functions
- Drive the development, implementation and management of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) principles, processes and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- 9 years of experience with Bachelor's degree; 7 years with Masters degree. Four additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and processes
- Experience with software configuration management processes, source control, branching strategies and semantic versioning
- Experience with and comprehensive understanding of software development and configuration management tools (i.e., Linux, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, ClearQuest, Git, Collaborator)
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and complete tasks timely
- Ability to collaborate with fellow team members, cross-organizational teams, and management
- Understanding of EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, AS9100, and related standards
Ā Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous improvement of processes
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience with DevOps
- Ability to identify the needs to achieve build automation; experience designing and implementing CI/CD solutions
- Experience with Solid State Drive (SSD) partitioning and management
