Associate Member Services Specialist

Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Member Services Specialist who will:

• Work with Direct and Exchange member accounts
• Provide support pertaining to member eligibility, enrollment, premium billing and payment, and delinquency via phone, chat and/or email for both Direct and Exchange Members
• Provides excellent customer service for all lines of business and all member interactions by providing a full point of service
• Researches, investigates and resolves member issues
• Maintains confidentiality of all information related to members and employees

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

• This posting is for multiple openings of an Associate Member Services Specialist role
• This role requires flexibility to work an 8 hour shift between: 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday

Providence Health Plan welcomes remote work for residents who reside within a daily commutable distance of the following location:

• Oregon: Beaverton

Required qualifications for this position include:

• 1+ years of experience working in a customer service call center environment or another related field

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Experience working in the Member Services Department within Providence Health Plan
• Experience working in a high-volume insurance call center environment
• Proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts 
• Phone, chat and email response experience in a in a call center environment

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
