This position is located in our food manufacturing facility in Willoughby, Ohio. The position will be responsible for the complete supervision of Quality in a single-line food manufacturing facility, providing technical guidance for food safety, quality, and related issues. The plant operates Monday-Friday (Days).

This is a hands-on position allowing you to provide assistance at all levels of the plant. From the production floor to the management team, you will have a wide range of responsibilities. You will help with start-ups, sanitation reviews, daily quality inspections, employee training, supplier issues, as well as quality systems documentation and control.

PCQI Certification required. HACCP and SQF experience is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with plant personnel to ensure we are producing a safe, quality product for our customers.
• Will be responsible for Pre-Op micro swabbing, plating, interpreting, and trending the results. Will work closely with Sanitation.
• Will review and Monitor CCP checks and perform Quality spot checks. Will review and sign off on production and analytical paperwork. 
• Inspect raw products and ingredients for supplier nonconformities and is responsible for putting the finished product on hold if needed. 
• Will work closely with plant management and corporate consumer service personnel to investigate consumer complaints. 
• Will be a member of the Food Safety and Crisis Management Team, and the Internal Audit Team. Will assist with customer audits. 
• Will train employees on Food Safety, GMPs, etc.
• Assist with R&D Trials
