Safety Department Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in activities of monitoring, validating, and development of analytical profiles in GE EMS to improve safety of flight operations.
• Communicate safety related trends/findings to the safety department.

Minimum Requirements

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Punctual
• Must be responsible, well-organized with good time management skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive flight data
• Effective communication skills
• Private pilot certification preferred but not required
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
