Field Verification Engineer

 Job Description & Skill Requirement:

 

'Role: Field Verification Engineer
Location: Roxana, Illinois
Key Responsibilities:
•    Perform plant walk-down to perform P&ID and PFD verification with As-Is condition in plant and create red line mark-up for the gaps
•    Perform plant walk-down to gather missing information for equipment/pipeline
•    Field verification to sketch P&IDs, PFDs, Equipment Inspection Drawings and Isometric drawings from scratch wherever these drawings are not available with client
•    Incorporate red-line mark-up in AutoCAD drawing to create As-Built drawing
•    Mark-up systems and circuits in AutoCAD drawing
•    Data collection from various systems like SAP, PCMS and others and Data QC before submission to client
•    Sound knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, CAD/Graphics, and reading of drawings.
•    Sound knowledge of Safety procedures to be followed during plant walk-down
•    Experience with Microsoft Suite
•    Refinery or Chemical industry background is preferred
•    Good oral and written English language skills
•    Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
•    Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.

 

 

Qualification:

1) Associate Diploma or Degree in engineering or specialized courses in Mechanical, Chemical and engineering practices
2) 2 to 3 years’ experience in similar work is preferred
