Adapt for Life is looking for part-time afternoon/evening RBTs in the Louisville area for our up and coming Home and Community Based Services!
$1,000 sign on bonus for currently certified RBTs after working 240 billable RBT hours.

Job Summary: The Home and Community Based Registered Behavior Technician will apply empirically based behavioral principles to all clients that the Registered Behavior Technician works with, in a home or community based setting. The Home and Community Based Registered Behavior Technician functions as an integral part of the treatment team and ensures that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner to benefit the clients that the Home and Community Based Registered Behavior Technician works with. This is an hourly position.
Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Applies empirically based Applied Behavior Analysis principles consistently, including assessment skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies in all interactions with clients and staff
- Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the Clinical Supervisors
- Teaches the clients to acquire language, academic, self-help, and social skills as stated in the ITPs
- Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills. This may include toilet training, eating, and other self-help skills
- Is a team-player and assists with ideas, suggestions and work duties
- Participants in ongoing clinical training
- Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, therapist trainers, therapists and clients
- Works with clients, staff, families, and community to implement client's treatment plans
- Consistently implements behavior plans to reduce client's socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors
- Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include client physical aggression and property destruction
- Completes daily session notes and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent in a timely manner
- Follows Behavior Analysist Certification Board policies and procedures including the Registered Behavior Technician handbook
- Follows Adapt for Life and Adaptive Community Support Services policies and procedures, including adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Maintain the Behavior Analysist Certification Board portal, including, renewals, self-reporting, and other requirements
- Submit all notes and other necessary documentation on time
- Demonstrates a basic understand of billing requirements
- Demonstrates a full understanding of Registered Behavior Technician Ethics Code 2.0
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma, preferably some college
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of hire
- Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver and Private Insurance experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with people at all levels of the organization
- Great interpersonal and people skills
- Certified Registered Behavior Technician
- Clear background check

- Ability to work independently and problem solve without direct supervision at times
- Ability to assess situations and understand when supervisory support is needed
