Description
The Corporate Operations Manager serves in the capacity of 504 Coordinator and is also responsible for the day-to-day management of various corporate activities. Responsible for providing equitable service to applicants, residents, staff, and clients to protect the company from discrimination claims. Reports to the Vice President of Administration.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing with applicants, residents, staff, agencies and advocates relative to essential functions.
- Reviews and approves or denies housing related reasonable accommodation / modification and VAWA requests within established timeframes.
- Reviews and approves or denies housing criminal appeals within established timeframes.
- Coordinates prevention efforts to avoid Section 504 and fair housing complaints.
- Maintains neutral perspective.
- Monitors adherence to non-discrimination, Section 504, and fair housing policies and procedures
- Promptly reports fair housing compliance concerns to the appropriate supervisors.
- Maintains positive relations with fair housing agencies and advocates.
- Appropriately documents all interactions related to reasonable accommodation / modification, VAWA requests and criminal appeals within established timeframes.
- Manages Yardi Screening setup and screening policy allocation by property/program type.
- Serves as a resource for staff questions and report issues related to Yardi Screening.
- Provides new hire training on reasonable accommodation / modification, VAWA, criminal appeals policies and processes, and Yardi Screening.
- Adheres to all federal, state and local fair housing laws and regulations.
- Manages position relevant customer service requests and ensures timely and satisfactory completion.
- Manages SAM entity setup and renewals.
- Responsible for specific transition tasks when onboarding / offboarding properties under management.
- Corporate office coverage on assigned days and during absences.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to travel for training opportunities from time to time.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to Fair Housing and Section 504.
- Proficient with property management, Microsoft Office Suite, and other related software.

- None
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office/building environment with the ability to work remotely on specified days (subject to change at any time). We are also open to considering fully remote candidates who live outside the Boise area, provided they meet the required experience and education qualifications.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Limited; required to attend biennial company conference and may be required to attend other periodic training events out of town.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Training in property management, real estate management, Section 504, fair housing and/or an associate degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of property management, hospitality, office management or administrative experience. Professional training may substitute for experience.
