Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position is responsible for assisting with patient intake, scheduling, and administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Intake & Support
    • Take and record vital signs accurately.
    • Check in patients and complete registration processes.
    • Prep charts for the following day to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Correspond with patients regarding appointments and inquiries.
    • Conduct patient outreach to schedule appointments.
    • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Scheduling & Financial Transactions
    • Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
    • Collect co-payments and outstanding patient balances.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or related certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to work scheduled hours

Salary Range:

$19 hourly
