Job Description

The Director, Finance and Operations will oversee all the services within the financial, accounting, treasury, risk management, audit, security and administrative functions of the company. Be the key partner across the company and LVMH to guarantee a seamless operating model between Maison Francis Kurkdjian and LVMH Business Partner Center (shared service center).

MISSIONS / TASKS

Finance

• Ensure all the conditions of administrative management of the company and carry out the management tools (dashboard, KPI, etc.) from the accounting which are necessary to the company accurate follow-up and management
• Ensure the company accounting books are sincere, present a fair situation of the company and are complying with international (IFRS) and US GAAP accounting rules
• Ensure the smooth realization and coordination within the entire perimeter and the communication of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, as well as the budget and revised forecasts to the local SVP North America
• Supervise general and analytic accounting for all the company and its affiliates, and make sure the deadlines are met
• Head the budget control, financial control, treasury (cash tracking), risk management, internal and security audits, and alert the management of every discrepancy or abnormal situation
• Act as a sparring partner with the other departments (marketing, sales, human resources, e-commerce, etc.) to support company objectives achievement
• Support the General Manager in the business decisions roll-out

Supply Chain

• Ensure a smooth dialog and information flows between Maison Francis Kurkdjian head office and local team as well as a perfect coordination of the local company supply chain between LVMH BPC and Ferguson Associates warehouse
• Manage Inventory and maintain accountabilities for all orders.
• Establish security stock levels for products and sales support materials for North America and plan replenishments accordingly and to avoid any shortages
• Manage day-to-day relationship with the Company's logistics partner in Edison New Jersey including shipping requests, investigation, and dispute of charge backs from customers, etc.
• Define the stock related KPI targets (stock rotation, depreciation, stock turn, etc.)  in accordance with the company strategy and standards
• Implement appropriate procedures to ensure reliability and accuracy of processes and data and propose improvements and automation where applicable
• Make sure the Supply chain organization and processes are constantly optimized and adapted to the needs of Maison Francis Kurkdjian

Internal Control

• Make sure the internal control procedures are updated and enforced across the organization
• Lead ERICA update and action plans deployment
• Report any significant risk to the management

Legal

• Define the legal priorities and participate to their enforcement within the organization
• Coordinate with Maison Francis Kurkdjian and LVMH BPC/LVMH Inc. Legal teams and with external lawyers

Other

• Facilitate a smooth coordination between BPC IT and Maison Francis Kurkdjian IT. Actively participate to the IT related projects for Maison Francis Kurkdjian North America
• Lead the teams to grow them internally and make sure the organization is optimized with the company strategy
• Manage and follow-up all the insurance and risk-management related topics for all Maison Francis Kurkdjian North America
