Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Job Summary: 

The Reliability Engineer Technician/Maintenance planner is responsible for project implementation, duties to include monitoring and analyze project initiative results interface as well, with the focus teams and maintain project primary plan schedule. Technician will assure the maintenance and reliability process design of planning & scheduling maintenance is implemented and executed by the plant (Maintenance and Operation) organization.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role involving plant equipment reliability, or planning in operations and maintenance

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Previous Involvement as project manager in the reliability project implementation is a plus
  • Previous experience in maintenance planning is a plus
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the condition monitoring and predictive tools as well as capable of interpreting the data from the tool's readings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates improvement initiatives including focus teams/plant reliability lead team meetings, interfaces, and support requirements. 
  • Focuses on Predictive Maintenance techniques based on analysis of equipment failure modes to detect early-stage failures with the goal to minimizes wasteful PM practices
  • Audit the maintenance organization for discipline to follow-up the following processes: Asset Strategy, CMMS (MVP), work order completion, planning and scheduling, PM and PDM.
  • Audit the operation organization for discipline in Operator’s Care.
  • Critical Analysis of the most complex problem identification.
  • Conduct in-depth problem-solving exercise to improve equipment reliability
  • Revise the PM and PDM designs based on improvement of the equipment reliability.
  • Conduct recycling training as part of skill matrix of the craftsmen and operators
  • To work hands-on with issues and with maintenance technicians on problems
  • Responsible for the asset maintenance plan for each of the assets and includes PM and PDM tasks and intervals, overhauls, and spare parts.
  • Leads Root-Cause Analysis activities, as needed, to resolve or prevent deviations from equipment performance.
  • Support and sponsors all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices
  • Drives the scheduling process for all planned work
  • Coordinates monthly backlog review of work orders with operations and maintenance personnel and helps prioritize work orders.
  • Transforms each work order from a prioritized backlog into a planned-kitted-scheduled work package. 
  • Reviews priorities when developing the weekly or outage maintenance schedules.
  • Assures that corrective work identified via predictive and preventive maintenance is advanced to planned-kitted status and integrated into the weekly schedule.
  • Ensures the highest possible resource utilization in developing the weekly work schedule
  • Facilitates an efficient weekly scheduling meeting.
  • Develops and publishes weekly maintenance schedule.
  • Ensures that work orders are assigned and delivered to supervision & mechanics in conjunction with the weekly work schedule 
  • Ensures that completed work orders are closed out in a timely manner.
