The opportunity
As a Business Optimization Leader you will:
- Work closely with Director of GPL PMO Business Operations to ensure that the appropriate technical tools and systems are identified and established to facilitate process optimization.
- Work closely with internal and external functions such as clinical development, medical affairs, CMC, global regulatory affairs, TGO, sourcing and commercial to seamlessly integrate technical process development activities into the overall working model.

How you’ll spend your day
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing GPL and cross functional processes and methodologies, and streamline project workflows.
- Collaborate with project leaders, cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities of enhancement and standardization.
- Design and implement improved processes that address identified gaps and workflows.
- Develop and continuously refine a comprehensive strategy for optimizing project management and operational processes across Innovative medicines, Biosimilars and Gx, focusing on maximizing efficiency, minimizing risks, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze data to assess the impact of process changes and identify areas for further improvement.
- Lead efforts to standardize core program team operating model across the GPL organization. Identify and promote best practices. This will include methodologies, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across Innovative Medicine, BioSimilars and Gx. Continuously improve based on lessons learned, industry trends, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Change Management: support the adoption of new processes and tools across the organization. Develop change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance to process changes within GR&D and external functions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of new processes.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure smooth transitions for project teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the GPL and GR&D by promoting innovative thinking and encouraging suggestions from team members.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
