TxDOT’s San Antonio District is hiring a Contract Specialist III or IV to join our District Maintenance Office in San Antonio, TX. The District Maintenance team oversees a wide range of maintenance contracts and manages the district’s budget for contract services—ensuring our roadways remain safe, reliable, and well-maintained across a 12-county region.

In this role, you’ll take on key responsibilities that directly impact project delivery and financial stewardship, including: reviewing change orders, monthly estimates, and contract documents for accuracy and compliance, assisting with budget monitoring and analysis to support district spending goals, providing training and guidance to inspectors and project staff on maintenance contract procedures and best practices

Annual Salary Ranges:

• Contract Specialist III (B20): $51,158 - $81,351
• Contract Specialist IV (B22): $57,614 - $93,138

This position is for one (1) Contract Specialist III, or IV. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
