Courses:
SCM-400: Global Supply Chain Operations
This course provides an introduction to the theories and practices of global supply chain and operations management, as well as an understanding of basic tools and methods of managing operations and supply chains. Students apply critical thinking skills to solve business problems using industry-accepted operations management techniques.
SCM-410: Lean and Quality Management
This course examines quantitative and qualitative continuous process improvement techniques, including statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean, and managing change with improvement initiatives. Students identify a project, apply the correct tools, and manage a process improvement project.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
What You Will Bring:
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management
- AND 7 or more years work experience in Operations and/or Supply Chain
- Preferred - Lean or Six Sigma Experience as a Master Black Belt experience
