You will guide and drive the company’s month-end closing practices, policies and processes, your strong communication, attention to detail, system and process acumen and financial reporting knowledge are critical in driving the success of Docplanner’s Finance. </p><p>The role will be based in Warsaw,  Poland (hybrid position, you can work from home 3/4 days per week)</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Lead a team of accountants responsible for preparing and processing journals, analysis and preparation of accruals and provisions, management of the corporate and local statutory closing processes, account reconciliations, supporting the countries Finance Directors in the corporate and local statutory audits.</li><li>Monitor and ensure that all related activities to the month end close are performed in accordance to the global timeline communicated and prescribed checklist.</li><li>Performs variance analysis for balance sheet accounts as part of the closing process, </li><li>Liaise with the local Business Partners and Finance Directors on the month end activity, including setting up calls with local country teams during month end close.</li><li>Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations in line with the global policy and timeline.</li><li>Prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting submissions for local teams.</li><li>Ensure smooth transition of new accounting tasks into the Accounting Hub including planning, work shadowing, go live, and post implementation review.</li><li><strong>Performance Management</strong>: Manage deliverables to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) defined for the team.</li><li>Establish and continuously monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team to meet the performance standards of the SLAs.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>: Identify and implement initiatives to improve processes. Provide support and input as required to companywide continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Management</strong>: Attend structured meetings with key stakeholders. Respond timely to queries from stakeholders and take actions to resolve them.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.</li><li>Chartered Accountant, CPA or equivalent having experience in the external audit process. MBA (desired)</li><li>More than 7 years working in an international finance department responsible for month-end closing or working in financial shared service centre, responsible for coordination of the month-end close and audit process,</li><li>Participation in transition of finance activities into a shared services environment;</li><li>Demonstrated success managing the operational performance of accounting operation hubs serving different countries across europe.</li><li>Demonstrated success in introducing major change, leading multi-functional initiatives and managing complex projects, Proven track record leading change end to end processes.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of ERP finance applications, Netsuite is desired.  Advanced Excel skills are a must, </li><li>Strong written and oral communication in English, other languages; German, Spanish and Italian, a plus.</li><li>Polish language - intermediate level is a must. </li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>What you will find?</p><ul><li><strong>Equity</strong> - That's right.
