About the role

Accountant

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned duties during the month-end close process, including journal entries and accountant reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial statements month over month and compared to budget.
  • Maintain and update general ledger
  • Process and reconcile accounts and receivable
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
  • Assist with tax filings and audits
  • Perform other accounting tasks as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CPA certification is a plus
