A Little Bit About the Position

Join Gemini Legal as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, where you'll play a key role in transforming cutting-edge AI research into scalable, impactful software solutions. You'll develop APIs for enterprise clients using Python and FastAPI, while also building sleek, user-friendly web applications for smaller-scale users with JavaScript and Nuxt.js. Collaborating closely with the Research & Development team, you'll help bring AI-powered services to life, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless cloud integration. • Location: Remote (must be located in one of the following states: AL, CA, CO, MN, MT, NC, NJ, NM, NV, OH, PA, TN, TX, WA)
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Compensation: $140,000-$169,000/year

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python and JavaScript
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on delivering efficient, reliable, and secure software
• Advanced time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
• Proven experience with FastAPI, Nuxt.js, and AWS, particularly in production environments
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in applying AI models to real-world use cases
• Experience in building and scaling APIs and web applications
• Experience working in an office setting
• Exceptional teamwork

Functional Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to:

• Sitting for at least one hour at a time (total: 4-6 hours/day)
• Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 4-6 hours/day)
• Using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total: 1-2 hours/day)
